THE ROHIM FAMILY

dear mr & mrs bloggie…

It was indeed another memorable celebration. This time, I made sure I was there throughout the preparation and the very day itself because I wouldn’t want to miss it for the world.

Last year, I had Maggie in my hotel room while I cried my eyes out listening to Takbir in Hong Kong. This year, I went all out to make my family happy, a merriment event one just couldn’t miss. We even donned similar colour outfits, unplanned mind you.

Brother and I had what we called ‘teamwork’ where he would help me with my curtains and bedsheets, in exchange I help put up the curtains in the living room. And since we were in sucha good mood, we insincerely lend a hand to sister with hers as well.

Brother and I bonded so well, he even allowed me to French twist his hair while he busied himself watching soccer. Gawd, it was hilarious!

The eve of Raya was spent helping mother cook her oh-so-delicious dishes, and because I cooked ‘em with love, you can be sure my mother had her praises sang to her. I am so going to heaven I tell you.

The whole day of Raya, I spent time with the people, if not the only people, I call cousins. Who else but the familiar faces you see throughout my blog. Cuz Nur, Ctea, Serena and Katrina, wave to my readers please!

Once visits to the relatives’ places were ‘complete’, we cooped ourselves up in my bedroom where Tribond yet again occupied our time. After what seemed like hours later, I was seen doing French twist(s) to my cousins’ hair. And then the photo taking session resumed.

With the umbrella as the prop, yea the one I bought from Athens no less, we went crazy. I am so lucky my cousins are my best/childhood friends. Shy doesn’t exist with them around. We are that close, far too much I daresay that I don’t think I could get used to being without.

Another happy occasion was when another of my favourite cousin paid me a visit. Cuz Ezan, you will always be my partner. I am forever your Fasya despite all odds k. I love you Zan!

I wanna tell you readers so many things but like me, I’m sure yours were as good too so let our happy memories fill the remaining space to this entry. I don’t mean to chat away your Raya hey.

And with all that is said, I’ll wrap this up with photos you must see!

Cuz Ayu came all the way from Abu Dhabi to celebrate this day with us!
We cousins thank our mothers (coz they're close sisters) for this tightly knit relationship we have ever since.
Above: Isn't it funny that them three have 2 daughters each. So close, we are.
This is my another sayang of the sayang, Cuz Ezan who was my neighbour and friend and cousin and partner in everything.

Now you know why my family is my life and my life is my family. They're more than enough to fill my days with happy happy moments.
SELAMAT HARI RAYA.
