dear mr & mrs bloggie…
Because my flight from Sydney was delayed, I arrived in Singapore an hour and a half later. On normal days I wouldn’t have minded but not this time, not when I know Ferdie would be waiting for me at the arrival hall exactly at 12 am. Or so I thought. -_-
Perhaps the above wanted to be nice to me, (or to him rather) for in the end it was Sailorman who was late. But this guy’s smart, oh yes he was, bless him for reading this.
For God love a duck, Ferdie brought along his younger sister. Now you tell me, how to throw a tantrum when another party’s present?
While in the ladies, I was hyperventilating continuously. Ok.... I was not, but hey I could have and news has it that anxiety attacks are said to be fatal, right?
Right, so anyway I was so nervous I think I stayed in the ladies a tad too long, busily contemplating whether the shawl would look good or not with my simple outfit. I was at a loss on how to collect myself, what with this epiphany that I was gonna faint in front of her. Wait, did I also mention I was still in the acts of suffocating myself with that shawl wrapped around my neck?
Turns out, that didn’t matter so much because she was sucha sweetheart. I was looking at the female version of Ferdie. *chuckles* We had fun making him kanchong by “misbehaving” in the car with lit sticks while he was driving and I knew there and then I could make her my kaki.
Since your brother is genetically programmed to not break rules, I dare to suggest let’s ruffle his life! Bad is the new good they say.
And I know your cousin reads my blog religiously (Hi!), so I bet you’ll be here reading this too. Let’s hang out again k love…. Prawning ke…clubbing ke... *evil grin*
*******
Speaking of love, the next day had me dragging my small bum to Tampiness for a distant cousin’s wedding. Mother was already there so Father, sister and I took it that we’re allowed to be extremely late.
Safe to say, we missed out on the show. Not that I cared much but Cuz Kat was bugging me to no end by calling me to check on my whereabouts like every few minutes. Bleurgh.
Forty-five minutes later, Cuz Serena, the bugger herself and I nonchalantly made our way to town to hangout at our usual spot. I bought notepad and three pens and those next three hours we were glued to our seats playing word games. We did just that. (And yet people tell me I have such a fun life.)
Cuz Nur joined us soon after. We did a lil catching up and before long, Cuz Nur was also seen engrossed in playing that very game. Such fun! *squeals in delight*
By now you readers have already guessed the mood that I was and am in so rest assured I shall cut short my description.
Ehhh…. Lemme add one more happy paragraph please.
Another thing that got me in high spirits that same night was…… Ferdie finally met my cousins. He was (no surprise now) shy and reserved and I was glad he didn’t stutter when he had lil talks with them. Not that he does the said to begin with… ok ignore me. I’m pulling the plug now.
It was a great weekend, one that's greatly appreciated. I shall action action now with those few pathetic pictures that I managed to snap. What to do, apparently all the peeps mentioned above preferred Polaroid’s to a normal digi cam. Pffft.
